For over twenty-five years, Charles Kibby and the principals of Preservation Arts have been providing restoration services to property managers and owners committed to restoring and maintaing the historical fabric of their structure's architectural sufaces.
Preservation Arts is a full-service historic masonry restoration and preservation firm with extensive experience in natural and man-made masonry materials, combining a background in art and architectural history with proven methodologies, products, and innovative thinking to achieve outstanding results within a project's budget.
Charles Kibby, the company's founder, was an early innovator in the area of in-situ stone restoration and refinishing, and brings his expertise to every project to insure completion, whether historic or contemporary stone and regardless of the type of repair.
Project completed over the last twenty-five years have addressed such varied media as stone floor resurfacing, stone panel salvage and reinstallation, decorative plaster restoration and installation, terra cotta and mosaic removal and restoration, and creation and installation of new cast stone to match the originial historic appearance.
Preservation Arts is based in Los Angeles and works all over the State of California.
