American made period lighting fixtures and hand-blown glass shades that do not hint at style-- they are classic originals that have been out of production and unavailable for over 50 years. A few years ago, owner and founder Brian Faherty discovered a collection of original cast-iron moulds in an upstate New York warehouse, all but forgotten for more than a half century. Once covered with layers of rust and dirt, these moulds have been restored and returned to production. This collection represents some of the best examples of true American lighting design and is the inspiration behind Schoolhouse Electric Co.

Schoolhouse Electric Co. lighting can be purchased at our showrooms at 330 SE Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, Portland, Oregon 97212 (telephone: 503-230-7113) and 27 Vestry Street, New York, New York 10013 (telephone: 212-226-6113), online at www.schoolhouselectric.com and by phone toll-free at 800-630-7713.
