Tile Source Inc., is a specialist company supplying ceramic tiles for the restoration market. In the past 25 years there has been an enoumous growth in demand for tile to restore many great buildings of the 19th century. These included the Smithsonian Institution, Arts & Industries Building, the US Capitol, the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, and in the past twelve months, Tile Source Inc. have supplied the floor tiles for the Tweed Court House in New York City, and the Senate of the New York State Capitol in Albany. These were all tiled with genuine reproductions of the original encaustic or geometric tiles. Court Houses in Texas and elswhere, City Halls, and private homes in many parts of the USA, are also being restored. The whole vogue for 19th century style can now be satisfied without a large financial outlay. A faux tile is being manufactured which reflects the designs and styles of the period, at a much lower cost than the original tile. These are shown on our web page here.
