Not for Green Pot Lovers Only

Even by the high standards of early 20th century art potteries, the name Teco is legendary as among the most versatile and original of studios. A division of American Terra Cotta and Ceramics Company, which made terra cotta building products, Teco distinguished itself as a producer of innovative, ahistorical designs years before European modernism crossed the Atlantic. Now the Teco Art Pottery Collection from Prairie Arts offers reproductions of seven classic Teco vases, including their trademark Buttress vase (left). The collectible vases are made in the United States and offered in a selection of water-tight glaze colors. For more information visit www.prairie-arts.com or call 815-331-0940.
